The service
HR Max provides HR records, attendance from biometric terminals and the app, shifts, leave, payroll calculation, payslips, statutory file preparation, reports and related features, on the web and in a mobile app. Features available to you depend on your employer's subscription and settings.
Accounts
- Your employer creates your account. You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code; keep your phone and codes to yourself.
- You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell your employer or us at once if you think it has been misused.
- You may delete your account as described in the privacy policy.
Responsibilities of the subscribing company
- Having a lawful basis, and giving any notice the law requires, for the personal data it records about its employees — the company is the Data Fiduciary for that data.
- The accuracy of what it enters — salary structures, rules, attendance corrections and statutory settings.
- Reviewing payroll and statutory files before use, submitting returns on the government portals, and paying salaries and dues. The service prepares these files; it does not file returns or transfer money.
- Deciding on its employees' data requests, including account deletion requests, without undue delay.
- Keeping the administrator accounts it controls secure.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service: no attempts to access another company's or person's data, to probe or disrupt the service, to reverse-engineer it except where the law permits, to upload unlawful content, or to use it to record anything about a person that the law does not allow.
Data
The subscribing company owns its data. We use it only to provide and support the service, as described in the privacy policy. When a subscription ends the company may export its data, after which it is deleted except where the law requires us to keep it.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and secure, but it may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance or by events outside our control. We may improve and change features; we will not remove core functionality a subscription relies on without reasonable notice.
Fees
Fees, billing and plan limits are set out in the subscribing company's order or plan. Employees are not charged for using the service through their employer.
Liability
The service is provided to support the company's own HR and payroll processes; calculations depend on the rules and data the company configures, and the company remains responsible for the payments and filings it makes. To the extent the law allows, our total liability under these terms is limited to the fees the company paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending the service
A company may end its subscription as set out in its plan. We may suspend access that breaches these terms or puts other customers at risk, and will tell the company why where we can. An employee's access ends when their employer removes it or when they delete their account.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts at Rourkela, Odisha.
